| Dear National Federations,Dear Athletes, The Ranking group of the WKF Competition Rules Commission has been working during the last months on the revised version of the World Ranking Rules. These changes are intended to better reflect the recent developments in WKF competitions with the experience throughout the last period, including the qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games. As a result of this, the updated WKF Ranking Rules, effective as of today 20th January 2022, can be found on the WKF website for everyone’s reference. It is highly recommended to read carefully through the document. Nevertheless, you can find major changes below: -Increase of the event factor of the K1 – Series A events from 3 to 5 -Introduction of a new point system to differentiate between Round Robin and Single Elimination Competition Formats -Consideration of Senior Weight Category Changes -(Where applicable:) At Continental Championships National Federations will be limited to the points of one competitor per category counting towards the WKF World Ranking |
