WKF TO REVISE AWARDING OF MEDALS IN KARATE 1-PREMIER LEAGUE

The World Karate Federation has announced that the process of awarding medals to athletes in Karate 1-Premier League will be amended.

Following the organisation’s interest to increase the appeal of Karate’s flagship events, the WKF had adapted the system of allocation of awards for the 2018 edition of the Karate 1-Premier League. The awarding ceremony has now been revised coming into effect at the Karate 1-Premier League in Dubai.

Further to the decision taken by Karate’s international governing body, the second and third ranked athletes in Karate 1-Premier League events will receive their medals recognising their final position in the competition right after the winners’ ceremony.
